Aerospace Parts in Titanium and Aluminium
Aerospace parts are ordered in small quantities to tight tolerances. A wing rib fitting may be needed in quantities of four, then in forty once the airframe passes ground test. We machine Ti-6Al-4V and 7075-T6 to +/-0.01 mm on 3, 4 and 5-axis equipment, and hold the same programme and fixturing when the quantity rises, so the fortieth part measures like the first. Prototypes ship in 2 to 7 days and low volume in 7 to 15; injection tooling for repeat cabin parts reaches first shots in 15 to 30 days. We hold ISO 9001:2015, not AS9100, so the work is prototype, test rig and ground support hardware.

Aerospace Manufacturing Capabilities
CNC Machining for Titanium and Aluminium Airframe Parts
Ti-6Al-4V, 7075-T6 and 6061 cut on 3, 4 and 5-axis mills and turning centres, to +/-0.01 mm. Five-axis lets us hold thin-walled brackets and wing rib fittings in one setup, so datum error does not stack across operations. First article in 2 to 7 days. Each order ships with a dimensional report against the drawing and a mill certificate for the bar or plate.
Vacuum Casting for Cabin and Interior Mock-Ups
Silicone tooling taken from an SLA master gives 10 to 50 polyurethane parts in 5 to 7 days. In aerospace this is for cabin trim, ducting shapes, sensor housing covers and mass models used in fit checks and design reviews. Resins can be picked for stiffness or a rubber-like feel, and cast to a colour so a mock-up matches the surrounding panel.
Injection Moulding for Repeat Cabin and Ducting Parts
Aluminium and steel tools cut in-house, first shots in 15 to 30 days. Used for the parts an aircraft or UAV programme needs in hundreds rather than tens: clips, cable cleats, duct connectors, sensor covers and interior fittings. Glass-filled nylon and PEI hold shape at temperature. We hold the tool after the first run, so a repeat order five years on moulds from the same steel.
Sheet Metal for Access Panels and Enclosures
Laser cutting, CNC bending and TIG welding in 0.5 to 6 mm aluminium and stainless. This covers access panels, avionics enclosures, brackets, shrouds and ground support fixtures. 5052 and 6061 for panels, 304 and 316 where heat or corrosion is the problem. Bend allowances are set from the flat pattern we cut, so hole positions land where the drawing puts them after forming.
ISO 9001:2015 certified, with in-house CMM and dial-indicator inspection. Every batch ships with a dimensional report, and material certificates are traceable to the batch or heat number on request.
Aerospace Manufacturing Services
CNC machining
Ti-6Al-4V is slow to cut and work-hardens, so we run it at low surface speed with high feed and flood coolant. 7075-T6 and 6061-T6 for brackets and housings. Pockets down to 1.5 mm wall, tolerance +/-0.01 mm, Ra 1.6 as machined. Thin walls are roughed and finished in stages so the part does not spring.
Vacuum casting
For cabin and interior geometry that does not carry load: duct sections, trim panels, sensor covers, grab handle mock-ups. Polyurethane resins in rigid, high-temperature and rubber-like grades, cast from silicone tools off an SLA master. 10 to 50 parts in 5 to 7 days, colour matched in the resin.
Injection moulding
Worth the tool once a UAV or cabin programme passes a few hundred pieces a year. Aluminium tools for shorter runs, steel where the part stays in production. Glass-filled PA66, PEI and polycarbonate for clips, connectors, duct fittings and covers. First shots 15 to 30 days, T1 samples measured against the drawing before the tool is corrected.
Sheet metal
0.5 to 6 mm, laser cut and bent on CNC press brakes, TIG welded where a joint is needed. 5052 and 6061 aluminium for access panels and shrouds, 304 and 316 stainless near heat. Riveted or PEM-inserted assemblies, then anodised, painted or powder coated. Welded assemblies are checked for flatness before finishing.
3D printing
SLA for masters and fit-check models in 0.05 mm layers. SLS nylon for ducting prototypes and cable routing parts that need to survive handling. Metal printing in aluminium and titanium for lattice brackets and manifolds that cannot be cut conventionally. Printed parts here are for form, fit and rig testing, not flight.
