Smart Home Prototype

A smart home prototype carries electronics, so the housing is not only a shape. Wall thickness affects antenna performance, a sensor window has to be optically clear, and mounting bosses have to hold their position once the board is fitted.

We make sensor housings, wall plates, hubs and mounting brackets, holding tolerances tight enough that a populated board fits first time. Clear windows can be polished for infrared and optical sensors, and non-conductive materials are used where an antenna sits behind the wall.
