Die Casting Case

These parts were cast by forcing molten metal under high pressure into reusable steel dies. It is the standard route to metal housings, brackets and heat sinks made in quantity, giving good dimensional accuracy and a clean surface straight from the die.

Castings below are in aluminium alloys such as ADC12 and A380, along with zinc and magnesium where detail or weight decided the choice. Critical faces are CNC machined after casting to bring key dimensions into tolerance, then finished by blasting, powder coating or plating.
