Silicone Prototypes

A silicone prototype is a soft part made before a production tool exists. Because feel is the point of most silicone components, they have to be made in the real material at the real hardness. A hard-plastic stand-in tells you nothing about a grip or a seal.

We cast seals, gaskets, grips, keypads and bellows from a master pattern, at the shore hardness you specify and in the colour you supply. Overmoulding is available, so a soft grip can be combined with a rigid core in a single part.
